The Brief
Mastercraft Kitchens is a UK based well known family run, fitted kitchen manufacturer specialising in hand crafted, high quality, rigid-built, fitted kitchen cabinets and components. They required a unique do-it- yourself (DIY) e-commerce store to allow their customers to choose and order kitchens of their choice online.
Project Challenge
Mastercraft Kitchens has a diverse range of kitchens comprising of different styles, doors and units. It could would overwhelming for customers to find, select and order base units and associated doors and drawers themselves in a particular style. The proposed website should allow customers to see the various kitchen styles first and then select a particular style of their choice. The online store should then automatically find,filter and display related doors/drawers and base units of selected style, which could be ordered as a single unit by customer.
Project Result
After careful consideration of all the business and product requirements of Mastercraft Kitchens and after thorough evaluation of using possible e-commerce platform options we decided to build their online store on PrestaShop. We developed their unique website requirements through advanced customization of PrestaShop platform through modules, theme and override feature of PrestaShop. The final website built on PrestaShop meet all the requirements giving customers an easy online kitchen ordering experience.
